I apologize if this is not the correct Sub for this, but I'm looking for guidance on becoming an archivist.
Post Body

I have an AS in Film and I plan on getting my Bachelors in perhaps the same thing. I understand that I will need to get a Masters in either library sciences or records management. Does that all sound right?

Either way, I'd like to become a film/media archivist of some sort and I'm really not sure where to move for school (I currently live in Atlanta). I am unsure if I should double major in something, what organizations I should start getting familiar with, etc.

Do you have any advice for me? I sincerely appreciate any and all of it. Thanks so much.

(Let me know if you need more context)
