I’m currently working for a GC and have worked on a few commercial projects. I have a Civil Engineering degree but I haven’t gained much (if any) knowledge about Architecture with my limited experience. I’m looking for a book / books that encompasses architectural “styles” / design intents / constructability of each “style”. I enjoy the symmetry and decadence of classical / neo-classical builds but really want to learn about the field as a whole.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
(I apologize for any misuse of terminology)
