Hello: I’m working on a short film and the main character is an architect. I have some questions to help make him more believable. Any help appreciated.
1) Is there a place to get an architectural model to use as a prop? A house / skyscraper / etc? Maybe a model kit? Doesn’t have to be super fancy or detailed as it’s just a prop. Maybe a good tutorial for making one (foam board or…?)
2) In this age, would you as an architect potentially hand draw plans? Not for a client but for a personal project. Presumably you’d use graph paper and a ruler??
3) What would job pressure look like? I’m thinking something like a harsh email from the boss about your drawings being late / risk of firing. Or are non-owners (CEO??) more partner level?
Any other pointers for believability would be very much appreciated.
