Starting a new junior position in the Netherlands, how should I prepare?
Hello all. After working for a number of years at a research and design practice in my home country, I finished my masters, and will be joining an similar small-scale firm in the Netherlands. The office focuses on urban planning but also has a portfolio of architectural projects. This is the first time I'd be working in a European context.
I'll be working in English, as the office is very international, and it seems like a great fit. I'm just wondering if anyone has any insights or advice for someone who's newly working in the Netherlands specifically for the first time. I have background in a lot of software, and have already established this with the office during the interview, but perhaps there are things I can brush up on before starting Just looking for advice, if you were me, how would you prepare yourself? Thanks.
