Archaeology periodicals worth subscribing to at home?
Post Body

Basically, as per title. My wife is working as an archaeologist (for a CRM firm), and I was hoping to pick up a couple fun and/or useful periodicals for her1 .

Currently, the only periodical subscriptions we have at home are Biblical Archaeology Review2, (thanks to a well-intentioned, elderly relative) and The Economist. We're currently in Southern California (so, Pacific Coast or American Southwest stuff applies), and her MA thesis was on fish bones.

What would you recommend?

Thanks.

1 I'm not asking her as I'd like to surprise her. If she doesn't like them after a year I'll swap them out for something else.

2 Note about BAR. It's a bad magazine of any sort, usually about 40-50% straight up ads, and horrible in terms of being an archaeology magazine. Almost every 'article' has a clickbait type headline, without any sort of actual content in the article. I find it very impressive as a business/marketing piece though, they've found their niche and are making good money off of it, content be damned.
