Collecting Chat Logs

I recently noticed that Minecraft saves all of the chat logs going back a very long time, this could help to get evidence for an investigation (RP) or something more serious like harassment, and threats, even if you forgot to take a screenshot. Anyone online at that point in time could get it, however if it was in local you would need the victim, or a witness to collect them.
To get to these logs, you have to go to your Minecraft folder and open the folder labeled "logs" they are all there, at the bottom are the most recent.
P.S. This can also be used to get exactly what was said at a council meeting or such.
