Is there ANY way to edit geometry without losing your selection in ArcGIS Pro?
Post Body

I have a job involving asset management, subcontracting for a large infrastructure company. As part of this work, I need to do a large amount of manual editing of geometry, with features often stacked atop each other and for which accurate z-values are crucial. This work is done using a lightly customised version of ArcGIS Pro, accessed through a remote desktop, and us subcontractors are EXPLICITLY forbidden to run any scripts, code, nor otherwise change the program beyond standard user settings. The sheer size of the datasets we are dealing with makes every selection and deselection laggy.

MY QUESTION is whether there is any way, any setting or method, that would allow me to edit the geometry of an object without deselecting everything else. This is driving me mad. Also, we are not able to do the "layer from selection" thing, that has actually been taken out of our version of ArcGIS Pro.
