Mystery Snails Stressed or Dead?

Post Body

I recently bought 2 mystery snails (A golden and a blue) from my local pet smart to add to my betta’s tank. He’s a very docile betta and hasn’t done much aside from look at the snails, but ever since adding them to the tank they have not moved ONCE. I’m worried that keeping them in there with the betta is causing stress, as there’s a tiny bit of white mucus that has come out from under their feet. I now have them in a separate container for now, just to ensure they aren’t dead or anything. Anyone know what I should do? I want them to feel safe in the tank but it seems I can’t make that happen. (I got them 3 days ago for context)
