I'm not going to name the store, but there is a well know pet store in my town that I went to today to get an idea of what fish I would like to stock a future tank with. I saw a fish that I liked the look of and went to take a picture of the name of the fish so I could remember it when a worker starts chewing me out saying that they don't allow pictures or videos of fish and points to a little sign. I told him that I just wanted a picture of the tag and he just repeates himself and pointed to the sign again.
Is this normal at actual fish stores? A part of me says it's just to avoid idiots blasting unsuspecting fish with a flash, but the skeptical part of me wonders if they don't want people seeing something sketchy about their fish online.
Sorry if this question sound ignorant or something 😂.
