My roommate has a fish tank in the living room that has LOTS of black mold inside.. she keeps saying she’ll clean it soon but she’s always tired from work. I was really sick from the end of october to thanksgiving, but after i went home i felt better. Now, im back on campus and i developed another cough and it feels like i can’t breathe sometimes(just like the coughs I had before). So, I think it’s because of the fish tank :/

There’s no fish inside so is there a way i can just pour some bleach inside the tank for a temporary fix? or will that ruin something inside the tank? Pls don’t tell me to clean it bc i think im really sensitive to mold so im trying to avoid all contact rn😭
