I am doing the behavioral work, but I have a young cat who insists on jumping onto my 30 gallon tank. I have a hinged glass top, and it doesn’t hold her weight. She was on it for a second and she partially shattered it. Here is a picture: https://imgur.com/a/PBP4Jnr
I am very worried that she is going to fall into my tank in the night and drown.
What is the sturdiest thing I can put on the top that will hold her weight?
I have one of those motion detection canisters up top that hisses air, and like I said, we are doing behavioral work with her. But I also wish to provide the sturdiest surface that she won’t fall through. What would that be?
