Am I over thinking water changes?

Post Body
I started this 20gallon tank with sparkletts drinking water because it’s what was the cheapest option at the time and it was purified through osmosis. My tap water was really hard and so I needed softer water.
So do I always have to match pH when I add in new water? Should that new water be the same pH? Does it matter?
My current tank’s pH is 7.5. One of the waters I was gonna use was like a 6 and I also have some that’s like a 7.
Am I just overthinking?
