Had to upgrade to a larger tank when my glofish (skirt tetras) killed one of their tank mates (honestly I was surprised at the brutality). It’s been a little over a month in a 20 gallon tank and no matter the amount of Stability I add I can’t seem to get the tank to cycle.
I’m testing daily for everything. As well as adding Prime since my ammonia reached 1ppm (I did do a partial water change and it lowered to .5ppm).
I know the kit is working cus I’m in the middle of recycling the old smaller tank for a betta and that one worked lol.
There’s currently 7 black skirts and 2 dwarf gouramis. No plants rn. I do have a heater and there are bubbles going. Am I just not feeding enough? I was feeding 4 times a week, just scared of over feeding lol.
Any advice? Do I just keep going? Are fish in cycles notoriously slow??
