I’ve had him for 9 months now and I got him fully grown, I had an ammonia spike in the tank and he never seemed to recover from it. He’d stay at the surface of the water for days, I’m assuming so that he could breathe while sick..
I figured he might get better but honestly I regret not euthanizing him sooner, poor little guy :( He hasn’t moved from the very bottom of the tank for like two days now which isn’t completely unusual, so I’m not entirely sure if he’s dead or not. I am absolutely not going to smash him and I don’t have any clove oil, if that’s really the best way then I’ll just pick some up after work.
