Snagged an awesome tank for shrimp (or so I thought), need advice!

I managed to get a brand new 6.6 gallon bookshelf petco tank from the LetGo app today, I was so happy because I've wanted it for so long but petco stopped selling them (lots of surface area for the shrimp but not much depth/weight) - but it turns out it's plastic (acrylic?), any tips on these kinds of tanks? Anyone ever have one of these specific tanks? I only have one glass 10 gallon which is super simple to clean and take care of.. I just feel like it's going to get scratched up no matter what I do.
