Accidentally caused an ammonia spike while doing a large water change today, is 1PPM too much for a betta?

Post Body

I'd say it's more so like .5-.75 PPM. I disturbed the substrate too much so that must have been the cause. The tetras were fine with 1.5ish PPM ammonia for about 12ish hours when I first stocked the tank (same thing, disturbed the substrate too much), but I'm concerned for little Skittles :(
