I bought some cycled media from angels plus and put it in the tank tuesday afternoon, judging by the parameters my tank is almost 100% ready.
Now, I know you're supposed to do a 100% water change once you think it's ready, but I didn't have the air pump for the sponge filter so I kind of just stuck it in my tank with the water it came with. I have a HOB filter.
Will my cycle still be fine after a 100% water change in that case? Will 5 days be enough for the bacteria from the sponge to establish itself on my HOB filter/substrate? Or should I wait a while longer?
