Enders aren't quite what I expected - any recommendations for different stock?
Post Body

I started with a Betta in a heavily planted 10 gal. The betta passed away a couple months ago and I wanted a more "active" tank this time around so I decided to go with Endlers. I wanted some live bearers and thought they were very charming little fish. I've had them for a while and while the cloud of babies is cute... I'm not really into them. I'm not sure if it is the drab females or what but I think they are kinda boring. I've had false julii cories but they died off really quickly. I'm pretty sure it's due to poor husbandry on the part of the store since every fish I've gotten elsewhere has done great and my parameters are on point. I enjoyed them but they are too expensive to keep replacing every 2 or so months.

So... any suggestions/advice?

Also, if anybody is in the Augusta area and is interested in some Endler's - pm me.
