So I wasnt a real avid aquarist until just recently. Ive had a fish tank since i was about 12 years old. Ive had everything from Mollys to Cichlids, and a couple of plecos. I never really saw anything special or sucess story worthy in my tank except my Common Pleco, who is about 4 years old. My most recent tank included two Jack Dempsey Cichlids and a Blood Parrot Cichlid. The blood parrot would lay eggs about once a month or so, but with no male in the tank, they were never fertilized. The Jack Dempsey Male eventually killed my blood parrot, and I was left with both Dempseys and my pleco. And then in July, I noticed eggs all over the decorations in my tank. Eventually there were about 50 baby Dempseys floating around in my tank. Not much of a sucess, but for me, it was awesome. Ive given away most of the babies, but I still have about 20, that are continually growing. I consider it a sucess, and just wanted to share!
