Tank mates for bumblebee catfish

Post Body

Hey y’all, I’ve started to narrow down my options for stocking the 120 gallon planted community tank and I’ve kind of fallen in love with the bumblebee catfish. Now I’ve got two separate questions:

1) is it even possible to keep them in a planted tank? I plan on going in on some Amazonian swords so I’m not horribly worried about those guys but it’s the other less heavily rooted plants I’m concerned about

2) what can I keep with them? I’m not sure if I want to go Asian or South American at this point but I’m having difficulty trying to find how big their mouths are so I have no idea what you could stock with them. Someone in a much older thread said Severums but ya know… plants. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to all you beautiful people
