Alright guys, I had this image in my head of how I was going to do my fishtank and... Yeah it's not turning out how I wanted. Not even close. Help me fix it. Should I just completely empty and start over? I also got so excited that I didn't rinse the substrate. And yes, I believe that it's in bacteria bloom because I'm still trying to cycle it but I heard plants would help. Is that WHY my plants are dying?

How do you keep plants from floating up? I feel kinda silly asking this question. I can't seem to keep my plants alive.
