Pulling a bone from fish (weird)

Post Body

Crazy experience this week of ‘pulling’ a bone out of a fish. Around 7 days ago one of my 7 yo Hujeta gar started to bloat near its anal fin. Water parameters were always pristine @ 0: Ammonia, 0: Nitrite & .10-.15 nitrate so was quite a suprise. I immediately started a trio of kana, metro, & nitrofurazone. About a week later, despite a decrease in swelling, I began to notice a red spot that formed into what appeared to be a ‘cyst’ in that same spot (progress in picture). Last night during a water change, the ‘cyst’ began to protrude more so i felt it would be safe to gently remove. I didn’t even need to because when I scooped the fish in a large pool net, what i believe to be 2 bones floated to the bottom and no cyst was present . I was left in utter disbelief but can only explain it by believing a frog fell into the tank through a small hole in the intake and was eaten. Now there is only a small hole that I will continue to treat with antibiotics. What do y’all think lol?
