Fishery like system - pumps and filters

Post Body

So I plan on building a setup/system to do some baitfish breeding, I already have a system design but I suck at numbers. All I am missing is the pump and filters.

Iā€™m not sure what numbers I am looking for in those, I have heard different things.

But here is what I have -

X4 20 gal tanks set up in parallel. (80 gal total of water) I will use a custom manifold to pump water from the tanks and through a filter, then pump the water out of another manifold that will feed into and aerate the water back into the tanks.

Not sure what a good filter for a system of that size would be, and not sure if I need a one GPM or 3 gpm or whatever pump, but I know I need a adjustable/variable pump (Iā€™d have valves to adjust/cutoff pressure/flow to each tank off my manifold as needed)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
