I had a tank that I had set up a few weeks ago, (substrate and some water were taken from another tank. Anyway) I had put a nail in the wall (it's a basement and there was a 2x4 nailed to the wall. Anyways, I figured I would hang the electrical power cord there (one of the electric outlets that has like 4 or 5 spots to plug stuff into) anyway last night it fell off the wall and into the tank. I had some fish in there. One was dead when I found it. But everything else survived. Luckily I found it when I did. The cord was getting hot and it was still plugged in. I've never had that happen. I'm going to have to figure out a mew set up for my basement
I know I can't use the outlet, but could that have caused damage to the air pump?
