Stoppies
Post Body

The question I'm about to ask is trivial. Hell, I'm gonna answer it myself. But, please help.

I've been trying to learn how to get the rear wheel off and do a stoppie. I try as hard as I think I can, but the wheel doesn't come off the ground. Ik what you're gonna say - "just brake harder". But winter's approaching and I don't wanna test my luck.

I know how to progressively brake quite well. I'm never stabbing brakes and always slowly increasing pressure to the point where I'm full fisting the brake. But, I'm still not stoppieing.

Do I need to get my butt off and focus on shifting my weight to the front? Or am I being a pussy and not going harder on the brakes? Or is it something else entirely? Dare I say the RS 660 stock pads aren't strong enough? (I also have an MV Agusta and damn are those brakes stabby). But ik the last guess is probably garbage because in the right hands, my bike can probably go miles while doing a rolling stoppie.
