Possibility of getting off waitlist?

Hey everyone, I just got some news and wanted to ask a quick question. So my application to UC San Diego got messed up and I received my offer almost a month after pretty much everyone else. I did get onto the waitlist, however, I was wondering if there is any possibility I would get off of it, especially given my late notice. Just making sure I don’t get my hopes up too much, thanks :)
