To people who apply to non-selective schools that have few requirements for the seratonin of an acceptance...
Post Body

Please stop. I get the sentiment, but when I see my friends applying somewhere like Baylor because they "want an acceptance", not only does this take away from someone who wants to go there, but also diminishes the whole school. I don't know if anyone else here has seen this happening, but I know many people who have applied to schools they're vastly overqualified for with 0 intention of going just so they can get another acceptance letter, and it feels really scummy to watch.
