Obviously today was commitment day, and it was really difficult for me. I was accepted into 9/10 schools but got basically 0 financial aid from most of them. I committed to my state school last week because I essentially have a full ride and I don't want to go into hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt for undergrad. I thought I had come to terms with it, but seeing everyone post today about how excited they are for the next four years really bummed me out. I wish I was going to a school I was excited about. Is anyone else in a similar position and today really sucked too?? I spent all day rethinking my decision and contemplating if it was too late to switch. I still don't know if I made the right decision.
On another note, hopefully someone who was waitlisted got my spot at UCLA/NYU/UC Berkeley/UCSD/UCI/GA Tech/Northeastern and is able to go. If you were waitlisted and got accepted to one of those schools, please comment!! It will make me feel a lot better about not being able to go :))
