Does making a good impression on a visiting college admissions officer affect your chances to getting accepted ?
Post Body

Right so this is specifically for Stanford but any information would help. Basically Stanford university reps(most likely admission officers) are visiting my school this week. I plan to talk to them and show them my transcript as well as other info about me but i am starting to wonder if it will even make a difference. If they like me will they put in a good word when it comes down to who gets in or doesn't or will their opinions will have no affect.

Additional info: i am an international student, i am applying for early admission so my name should be fresher in their memory

Tl;dr: as an international student if a college administration officer, particular for Stanford, likes me can this boost my chances to getting in?
