My friend owns a mechanic shop and also rents uhauls out of the shop. A few weeks ago someone left an apple watch in one of the uhauls when returning it. He has tried multiple times to contact the owner and been hoping they would come back in for it but it's been almost a month and he's heard nothing.
I know most apple products are locked with an apple ID after resetting them. He hasn't hasn't reset the watch in the hope that the person would come back for it but at this point he is debating what to do with it. He doesn't have an iphone and offered me the apple watch if I want it.
Is there anything I can do with this watch? Is there a way to find the owner with the watch? And if I did reset it, will it even be usable?
Thanks for any help
