Is the getting Cell service for the Apple Watch worth it?

My MVNO phone service added an option for Apple watch data for just $5.
I'm looking to try it but atm I can't even bring myself to bother because I have no clue what I would use my watch for data wise.
How do you all use your cellular Apple Watch that it needs a data plan?
