Some of you may have seen a post of mine a few weeks back where I had an issue with my Nike series 6. After a gym session very sweaty the watch constantly was calling emergency SOS and I couldn’t stop it. I had to reset the watch and the watch never turned back on.

I contacted Apple. They advised I’ll bring it in. They send it away and find a hardware error. Intern they replace the watch with a like for like Nike series 6 equivalent.

Fast forward 20 days and the replacement watch has done the exact same thing. I went through the same process spoke to Apple told him the issue they said bring it in and they will assess it and potentially send it away again to fix or replace . A few of the Apple employees are completely baffled by this and don’t understand how or why it happened.

After an hour and a half of being in store with a few Apple employees the store manager came out and said we’re actually going to completely upgrade you to a brand-new series 1046 mm. He went on to say that because they don’t make the Nike series 6 any more they couldn’t replace it so they needed to give me something that was a current up-to-date version.

I was completely blown away nearly in tears because finances have been a huge problem lately and this was something that was on my mind if I needed to replace my watch at my own cost. I actually offered in store that I would pay the difference between their cost price or sale price of the Nike series 6 and the upgrade to a series 10 needless to say I’m completely blown away by Apple. I was nearly going to completely abandon them but Sometimes the universe throws you some amazing things. I am very grateful.
