Unpair your Apple Pencil pro if you return it

I just got pretty screwed over because someone returned an Apple pencil pro to bestbuy and didn’t unlink it, so now I can’t use the find my feature but they can which means some random stranger has access to my location YAY (and no Apple support can’t do anything about I already called) so yeah fuck Best Buy for not doing their jobs and telling me to F off and get over the fact a complete stranger knows where I live.
