Is there any other way to add your most recently added songs to a playlist besides the most recent added tab?

basically i have a ton of playlists and a ton of music and before i was forced to update my phone whenever i would have my songs library in most recently added order it would stay that way when i tried adding songs to a play list, now that changed and it makes adding songs to a playlist more difficult for me. is there any way to do it the old way?
