I noticed today that many internet radio streams available on Apple Music via TuneIn now play a short āTuneInā stinger and a pair of audio ads when starting the stream (it doesnāt appear to happen on larger stations like BBC Radio 1 or The Current). These same streams donāt play pre-roll ads when played directly in TuneIn.
This hasnāt happened for the entire duration Apple has offered TuneIn streams. Is it a new monetization push from TuneIn or (hopefully) a temporary configuration glitch on calling the streams on Appleās part?
