So far, a lot of the Titanfall aspects and abilities have been transferred to apex, and have been incorporated into the lore. For example, octane is in a way related to a stim pilot. Using this logic, mirage is related to the holo pilot. In Titanfall, the holo pilot sends out decoys, and the old mirage (pre-buff) is pretty much a carbon copy of the holo pilot, with some added stuff to make him work well in a battle royale like game. So how was mirages mom basically able to make mirages kit, granting him everything a holo pilot would have, specific to the pilot? like, his mom just MADE a pilot suit, minus the double jump and wall climb? We need to know more about mirages mom. How on earth was she able to make a makeshift holo pilot suit for Witt?
