Now, I just want to vent for a little and see if maybe one or two people feel the same way. I am by no means a fantastic player but I feel like I can hold my own well enough. However I am now at that weird place skill wise where I am the designated "carry" every. Single. Game. 7/10 games I am paired with the sub level 100 players that are obviously still learning the game and at the same time being matched against the 15k kill Conduit 3 stack pred teams thus lowering my chance at a victory to break through the floor. Granted, it has helped me be more aware of positioning and 1v1s/1v2s/1v3s but "I'm tired boss". Thousands of players online at one time and I always seem to get paired with the randoms that are just picking up the controller for the first time. It's not fair to the new guys getting thrown into my matchmaker, it's not fair to me that I am forced into this mmr/eomm against the kids that basically play for a living, and I doubt the sweats feel too great running through the lobby of New kids over and over again. I want to be challenged, but the frustration lies in me not learning anything from having to babysit 2 randoms against the 3 stack pred team. I'd rather go against the 3 stack with people of a closer skill gap. But hey, Octanes prestige skin is in a few days

Agreed. Especially to your point with new players. I don't even recommend Apex to my friends if they're just casual gamers since the learning curve and be a 90 degree angle sometimes and then you can't really learn to play since you're getting swept through. Although at least we have mixtape to sorta help with that.

The entire reason is queue time. They'd rather have matchmaking be garbage and queue time be short than actually making a balanced SBMM that might take longer depending on your skill. I'm like OP in regards to skill and I had to finally just set the game down. Finished every battlepass from season 1-17 but just don't have fun getting ran through with little hope by these full stacks.
