I just moved into this apartment, and I am paying month to month. However, this is temporary until I can get moved into my new military household since I’m on the waiting list…. I had my wife talk to the landlord, since I was in the field…

This is the second month I have paid rent, I have told her to ask about putting in a service request to clean out the filters to clear out that cat pee/poop smell. However, the landlord just said just put some vinegar in the filter to clean it out….

How do I go from here? I cannot operate the AC unit until that smell is out, and I have a kid on the way very soon. I want to get this fixed that way the child can live a little bit more comfortable until we move into our military household.
