I’ve lived in different apartments/condos since 2001. Yes, I’ve had some bad experiences but mostly it’s been pretty good. For the last 2 years I’ve lived in a 2nd floor apartment with a loft. When I moved in I introduced myself to my downstairs neighbor and told her that I sleep with the tv on and if I’m ever too loud or noisy please let me know. I’m semi-retired and live alone. No pets, rarely have company. Became good friends with the manager- she’s absolutely amazing. My biggest problem was the smell of weed/cigarettes at times when I walked in my apartment. But every time I’ve complained the issue was dealt with. It wasn’t coming from my downstairs neighbor- she’s a sweetie. I keep to myself, I don’t bother anyone or their dogs. I follow the rules and treat others like I want to be treated. Yesterday, I noticed that my next door neighbors moved- let’s see what happens lol- hopefully, I’ll have good neighbors like my downstairs neighbor. Wish me luck.
