Hi everyone, I'm at my wit's end here and hoping for some advice on how to handle a situation in my apartment complex. There's an individual who consistently comes out to his balcony and engages in what I can only describe as creepy behavior towards women using the pool area. I've documented several instances where he's stood or sat on his balcony, watching me and others intently while we're at the pool.
Today, I noticed he had his door wide open, and I saw his shadow just standing there behind the door and the blinds, watching me. What's even more concerning is that at least three other female residents have expressed that they've experienced the same behavior—feeling watched every time they're at the pool. At least one of the residents have shared that they've seen him touch himself while sitting out on the balcony.
And he's only out on the balcony when there are women there. I have a balcony as well and I go out on it during lunch or after work hours, and I never see him during those times.
It's frustrating because I understand others have complained about his behavior in the past, but we feel that no corrective actions have been taken.
I'm not sure how to approach this situation. I recognize that the man has the right to use his balcony but at the same time, it's fucking creepy!!
I am starting to keep a detailed creep log and will be complaining to management (again) soon, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
