Maintenance crew taking ‘before and after’ photos after job is completed,
Post Body

I’ve been in this subsidized housing unit in a undermanaged apartment complex for those of us disabled and elderly.

I had an emergency today and called it in. Luckily our ‘normal’ guy was there. I don’t trust him much. But. He’s an ‘alright’ kinda guy.

He took pictures after finishing the job and said “these were for his protection.” Thing is. Every time I’ve had him over before this, he didn’t take photos. Might be a new policy. Didn’t ask. Anyway- I’ve had the a “manager” take pictures of dirty areas before. Claiming it was ‘needed’. But my hackles are raised. If he did take pictures before. I didn’t hear it. Or see it. But. I’m always worried.

Plus before he was dispatched here the phone guy said “W said to tell you. If the emergency area isn’t clean he’s not going to do anything and he will just walk out.” So I spent nearly 2 hours cleaning. Which is a normal weekly thing. But, scrubbed til I was a bit lightheaded.

Should I be worried? Relax my guard a bit? Wait to see if they post a notice on my door next week or not?
