Hot apartment and unable to open patio door. Bonus if it's cheap
Post Body

So I live in a 1 bed apartment with a friend that has a small dog and a cat. We converted the living room to be my room. The only AC we have a is a window unit mounted in the wall of my friends bedroom that doesn't work well and definitely doesn't get to my room. My room has been insufferably hot, especially when the kitchen is used. There's a patio door in my room but the screen door is mangled to the point it wont stay on the track. The track itself is in pretty sorry shape. Because of her pets I can't even open the patio door more than inch and even when I do open it bugs come in.

We don't use the patio door as a door at all, in fact I have a tapestry coving it. Is there a way I can cover the whole patio door with a screen that's pet proof? It's just so hot in here all times of the day, even when its not that hot during the day
