So my first experience with an RPA wasn’t the best. My piercer insisted on the shallow placement because she didn’t want the inside of the ring to be tight against the tip when fully erect. I took her advice and healing absolutely sucked. The ring got yanked on constantly. There was never a comfortable position no matter what I did and after almost 2 months I gave up on it. I switched to a barbell at the 2 month mark and it didn’t make a difference. It was just way too shallow.
I’ve got some supplies together and I plan on trying again, but this time I’m going to do it myself and get the placement I want. What are your thoughts against placing the ring much deeper to achieve a close fit? I have a large meato (diy) and I feel like I’ve got more than enough room to comfortably place the RPA deep. I see guys with APAs have the top hole pretty close to the middle of the glans with some decent sized rings… how was your healing?
