My best friend and I are thinking of buying a 3D printer. Is this a good starting point if we hope to print higher temp materials in the future?
Post Body

We do a lot of automotive stuff, and he is a CNC programmer. We have wanted to get a 3d printer for a long time, but we're hesitant to buy something that can only do low temp materials.

The big thing that appeals to me about this unit is it sounds very upgradable, not using a bunch of proprietary parts. Is my understanding correct?

Could it later be upgraded to make parts more suitable for automotive applications?

Is this the right printer for a first timer?
