Just need to vent a little...
My Vyper arrived with a broken SD card reader... No problem, tech support was very helpful and sent me a new motherboard with no hassle. It arrived in about two weeks.
I install it, with a little trouble but I recover and soon the machine is humming, warmed-up and leveled.
I insert the SD card. It goes in with the use of a little gentle force. The display doesn't see any files. I try a few times, then remember that the damn card goes in upside down. What a stupid design! There isn't even a note or a warning or even a little pictograph on the front of the machine to remind you.
I flip the card over, but it is too late. The card reader they use is so fragile that I had broken it when I put it in the wrong way. Any other machine I've ever used won't let you put the card in the wrong way...
I've ordered a new motherboard from Amazon. They were cheaper at Ali Baba but I didn't want to wait a month for it to get here...
I acknowledge that this is ultimately my fault, but I still think a design that has you insert the SD card upside down with no warning sucks.
