Kobra 2 top layer issues

So I have the kobra 2, use cura slicer and no matter what I can't get the top layer dialed in. I have had constant issues since I got this thing for Xmas. Anyone have any good cura profiles I can try? I know it's not the z offset because last time I calibrated it I ended up with a really good first layer. I was told it was a issue of changing the parameters in my slicer when I was at microcenter while out of town over the weekend
