Hi all,
I’m anxiously attached to my partner and my friends. I am an extrovert and love seeing the people I love. I’m working on enjoying my own time.
I’m going to the Phils for 2 weeks and I’m extremelely nervous. The last time I had a trip away from my ex, I was so anxious and did not enjoy my trip.
I’m trying to prepare myself for this upcoming trip. Theres a huge time difference and where I’m going I have limited support. I’m going with my parents but I only have aunts and uncles there no cousins or friends. I feel like when the boredom hits, I’ll be anxious towards my friends and partner. I can try to stay busy but it will be challenging if my parents don’t wanna do much and its dangerous for me to explore on my own. So far me and my partner and friends have dicussed face timing every couple of days to schedule a call. I also tried to book activities with my family like a beach day. I’m really scared my fear if abondonment and disconnection with be strong and flare up.
Any tips and tricks? Any advice?
