I find that I’m catching myself unconsciously holding my breath very frequently recently. It’s creating even more tension in my body, which then starts the anxiety feedback loop between my body and mind. It’s almost like the way you would hold your breath bracing for impact. Do you have any advice? The obvious thing is meditation and breath work. Both of which i both love and ironically feel very resistant to when things are hardest.
I’m pretty sad that I’ve had enough trauma recently for it to be showing up in my body. Grief…
