I have really bad anxiety as it is and i just recently(2 days ago) put a childhood dog down i had for 14 years she watched me and my siblings grown up protected us from my moms abusive boyfriends etc and when me and my sister put her to sleep we was there holding her until her last breaths and even after she passes i feel like it triggers my anxiety for the past 2 days ive been feeling mentally and physically sick anxiety through the roof its been hell also i feel like it kinda traumatized me a bit i never put down a dog before but i know shes isn’t suffering anymore atleast any advice on how to overcome these feelings im scared ill end up back in the hospital
