The Pandemic really brought a lot of fear to the surface for me. Like a lot of anxious people, I was scared of getting sick and took things to the extreme. It felt okay when we were all in it together but now that everyone is acting like it's all over, I feel so alone.
I'm partially vaccinated but just little things. Seems like everyone in my neighborhood never wears a mask. Even after my second shot, I plan on wearing a mask until we officially beat this thing.
I see restaurants packed full of people. Everyone is talking and eating like nothing happened. I understand that fully vaccinated people have little to worry about but we're on the honor system. What about the people who are scared of the vaccine or the one's that can't take it?
I once heard on this sub if you were feeling low, try getting your hair cut. I haven't cut my hair the entire Pandemic. The other day I was working up the courage to schedule an appointment but just couldn't do it. Trusting a salon to have vaccinated workers and keep sick employee's home seemed so overwhelming.
Anyone else having a hard time? What are some tips on dealing with health anxiety?
